I love fashion because it speaks its own language. As a designer, I have always been inspired by gender-neutral fashion—garments that can speak for themselves. Fashion doesn’t need restrictive groupings. I design clothing to function as a platform for the wearer’s own creativity, inviting them to engage with the garments, transform them, and make them their own.

Music is my key source of inspiration; it almost always kickstarts my collections. Sound shapes how I feel emotionally, and I often find a natural path from music to design. Specifically, alternative rock fashion has historically challenged norms around gender, beauty, and conformity, using clothing as a tool to communicate identity and emotion rather than status or trends.

I want to design clothes for everyone within a brand format that has no labels or sub groupings. I want to design clothing for everyone within a brand format that avoids labels or subgroupings. I originally got into fashion by altering and upcycling vintage menswear from my single father’s closet. I didn’t have much female influence growing up, but I grew to love how menswear looked in feminine silhouettes.

A goal of mine is to draw inspiration from around the world for my collections. When taking inspiration from other cultures, I strive not to simply “take” ideas, but to fully immerse myself—traveling, conversing with people, and contributing as much as I can.
